"SOULMATE'S PAWS FOR APPLAUSE"
"Babe" was Eldon's dog from the day she was born. He loved her, and she loved him, and they were a pair. they were true "soulmates". And when Eldon dcided to volunteer and train as a search dog handler, of course there was no other choice except Babe. She served him well and faithfully. She waited for the days when she could go out with Eldon and "find" someone, that was what she lived for. Now Babe is at the Rainbow Bridge. We all miss her presence, her somewhat stubborn attitude, her soft "woof" of greeting, even her ability to trash the house in our absence! No doubt about it, Babe was a "character". But she was a super smart girl, and she was a totally awesome search dog, always willing to search forever, and always making her "find" if there was one to make. Now she faithfully awaits the day when Eldon will come to greet her, and she can search again.
